PUBREV - PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: [1/1/2026]

This Privacy Policy describes how Pubrev ("Company", "we", "our") processes information in connection with its advertising technology platform (the "Services"). This Policy is intended to provide transparency while appropriately reflecting the limited role of the Company in the advertising ecosystem.

1. Scope & Role Clarification

This Privacy Policy applies only to information processed by the Company in its capacity as:

  • an independent advertising technology provider, and

  • a data processor or service provider, acting strictly on documented instructions of its clients (publishers, advertisers, and demand partners).

The Company does not independently determine the purposes or means of personal data processing carried out via advertisements displayed on third-party websites, applications, or platforms.

Publishers and advertisers remain the primary data controllers for user-facing data collection, consent, notices, and legal compliance.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Information Processed Automatically

In the course of providing the Services, the Company may process limited technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address (truncated or pseudonymized where feasible);

  • Device type, browser type, operating system;

  • Approximate location derived from IP (country or region level);

  • Advertising identifiers, cookies, pixels, and similar technologies;

  • Timestamped interaction data (impressions, clicks, conversions);

  • Fraud-prevention and security signals.

The Company does not intentionally collect or process directly identifying information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or government identifiers.

3. Purpose of Processing

The Company processes information solely to the extent technically necessary to:

  • deliver, display, and measure advertisements;

  • perform traffic analysis, reporting, and attribution;

  • detect invalid traffic, fraud, and security threats;

  • comply with contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations;

  • maintain the integrity and functionality of the Services.

The Company does not use personal data to independently profile end users, make eligibility decisions, or determine advertising objectives.

4. Legal Basis

Where applicable data protection laws require a legal basis, processing is performed:

  • on the basis of legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving advertising technology; and/or

  • on behalf of clients, pursuant to their instructions and legal bases (including user consent obtained by publishers or advertisers).

The Company does not assume responsibility for the adequacy or validity of client-obtained consents.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

The Services may involve the use of cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies deployed by clients or third-party partners.

Publishers are solely responsible for:

  • implementing consent management mechanisms;

  • providing cookie disclosures;

  • honoring user opt-out or preference signals.

The Company does not directly control client-side consent interfaces.

6. Data Sharing

Information may be shared only with:

  • advertisers, publishers, and demand partners as part of ad delivery and reporting;

  • service providers performing functions on behalf of the Company (e.g. hosting, analytics, security);

  • competent authorities where legally required.

The Company does not sell personal data and does not share data for purposes unrelated to the provision of the Services.

7. International Transfers

Information may be processed in jurisdictions different from where users are located. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) are implemented.

8. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • operational and reporting purposes;

  • fraud detection and dispute resolution;

  • compliance with legal or contractual obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on data type and applicable requirements.

9. Data Subject Rights

Where applicable, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data.

Requests should be directed in the first instance to the relevant publisher or advertiser, who acts as the primary data controller.

The Company will reasonably assist clients in responding to valid requests where technically feasible.

10. Security Measures

The Company implements reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children’s Data

The Services are not directed to children, and the Company does not knowingly process personal data of individuals under the age required by applicable law.

12. Changes to this Policy

The Company may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
